A…G…and now U-Spot?
Now, this is good news: It seems women not only have a G-Spot and an A-Spot, we also have a U-Spot!
However, I must admit there is a lot of downright contradictory information about this newly named area of our bodies. I pretty sure I’ve discovered it, but frankly, it must have been purely by accident. I don’t think I’m the only one either. Your U-spot is a patch of tissue that surrounds the opening of the urethra. It is most sensitive above and to the side of the urethra. By gently playing around this area of the vulva, many women experience a surge of sexual pleasure or even an orgasm. And you’re close enough to also create some indirect clitoral stimulation.
In researching this, I also looked at the reaction of men regarding this information. Many seemed excited just by being asked if they knew about. In my small sampling, most men had not heard of the U-Spot. A lot of them thought it was cool that there were so many potential targets in this playground.
One man however seemed bummed out and said, “I don’t know that I’ve found my girlfriend’s G-Spot. Now this!”
It dawned on me that some men may think that these are magical spots they are supposed to find. Are they looking for the sexual silver bullet? I can only speak for myself here, and I’m partial as I’ve been with the same man for more than a decade. I’m sure he has hit every physical spot possible. He is amazing that way. But the thing that has brought the absolute greatest pleasure has always been those moments of making love with our hearts as much as our bodies. I call that my H-Spot — and it took a very special man to hit it.
I’m in NYC to meet Kelly Ripa today. She is teaming up with Electrolux to raise $500,000 on behalf of the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund. I’ll share the interview with all of you next week. I love it when celebrities use their status and popularity to make a difference. I especially love seeing females help other women, something all of us can do.
Until tomorrow.
